These stories are written to acknowledge, respect, and celebrate the lives of those who met untimely and uncivil deaths in the world’s longest-running civil war in Sri Lanka from 1981 to 2009. The civil war combined a separatist war in the northern and a revolt against the government in the southern parts of Sri Lanka.
